Tecumseh is a Shaughnessy estate rebuilt to surprise. From the street it looks like a classic heritage home, but step inside and the story shifts. A bold contemporary addition stretches across the back, linking formal rooms to modern living spaces and leading to an underground koi lounge.
The project began by moving the house on its lot to meet current bylaws. From there, we gave the original structure a full renovation, keeping the classic details intact while introducing new spaces that feel fresh and contemporary. Formal rooms open into relaxed living areas, and the house ends with an underground koi lounge. Our role was to connect these very different elements so the home feels complete and cohesive.
